We decided it was time to simplify our lives. So we quit our jobs, sold our home and most of our worldly possessions, (yes, even our big screen TV). We said goodbye to our family and friends, loaded up our four cats and moved to a remote location in the southern end of Costa Rica. A place known as the Osa Peninsula which National Geographic calls “The most biologically intense place on the planet”. This is definitely not the suburbs!

Our vision was to find some place remote and in the heart of nature; where we would need to be somewhat self sufficient yet safe. A place surrounded by beauty, a sort of refuge of sanity that would inspire us both creatively and spiritually as well as those who would visit. Some place where the concerns of daily life just wouldn’t seem to matter as much replaced by the awe of the many wonders that come with living in this kind of environment. We hope to share this wonderful place with those who enjoy experiencing and exploring these unique eco-systems while providing a comfortable, safe and beautiful environment. We will accommodate only a few guests at a time allowing us to enhance your experience with personalized service while minimizing the impact on these frail eco-systems.
