Horseback Riding in the Rainforest

If you like the idea of exploring the rainforest where most tourists have never been than
this is the tour for you. We have several trails to chose from for this very unique adventure. Our loop trail will take you along pastureland and rainforest where you will get a chance to see many varieties of birds and possibly other wildlife as well. Along the way you will visit
a lookout point where you will get a panoramic view of the Sierpe river and mangroves.

Next you will venture deeper into the rainforest for a great jungle experience
as the trail loops up into the mountains.

 

On the other side of the mountain there are incredible views of primary
rainforest canopy. The trail loops back down to a mountain stream and along a road
that passes through several small villages. The Ticos here have always lived off
the land without public electricity and water.

The second trail goes directly into the heart of the mountain’s primary rainforest. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience. On this tour it will be just you in the heart of nature undisturbed by throngs of tourists all trying to get a picture of the same monkey ;-) This is one of the unspoiled areas where you will get the truest sense of the beauty of this area.

Mountain streams with forgotten swimming holes, wildlife all around you and no crowds ensuring one of the most unique and intimate rainforest experiences in the Osa Peninsula.
