If you're in the mood for some beach time, we can arrange a tour from Sabalo Lodge to a beautiful, secluded white sand beach appropriately named Playa Blanca at the mouth of the Sierpe river.

You'll take a boat (panga) downriver about 15 minutes to the boca (mouth of the Sierpe river).

When you first come to the boca, you may feel like you're in a Jurassic Park movie set.
The lush and verdant beauty and peaceful seclusion is incomparable.

Enjoy spending a few hours at Playa Blanca. If you wish, around the corner you can sit on a rock and fish from the river. The swimming is safe at this beach and the water is 80 plus degrees!

After an hour of fishing Dennis is enjoying a little shade and a cold beer.
